Per Mary Ann Beyster, President of FED, who participated on the judging panel, this is a "great end of an impressive year for this student-run organization with student-led business creation. They have created a forum that inspires, educates, and focuses on creating real companies in a broad range of areas. It really demonstrates the depth and breadth of talent that the university and community can bring together."

The UC San Diego Entrepreneur Challenge is a student-run competition now in its third year. The FED is a proud sponsor, served on the judging panel, and was involved in many of its networking events for two years.
