Starting in 2006, the Foundation for Enterprise Development formalized a grant-giving program. The FED's grant program primarily seeds initiatives related to advancing entrepreneurship and employee ownership in innovative areas of science and technology. Our focus is on working with tax exempt organizations that are engaged in critical research, education, knowledge sharing, and/or policy development with the widest effect.
In 2008, the Foundation began a Beyster Fellowship campaign to establish faculty and student grants to several carefully selected nationally acclaimed organizations with the goal of taking major strides in integrating principles of employee ownership into higher education.
Grants are funded via tax deductible contributions to the FED. Underwriting support from interested entities or individuals are welcomed and acknowledged accordingly.
