Advising Small Businesses with Government Markets.

A major thrust of the FED is providing business, marketing and transition-support services to high-technology businesses focused on working with the U.S. government (including U.S. government Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) programs). FED has established a network of experts including senior consulting officers with specific executive, management and technology know-how needed for building a government and commercial contracting-based business to work one-on-one with small-business management. We are currently working with small businesses seeking military-related contracts in the following areas:

• System-of-system design services for complex systems
• Advanced data routing for quick-deployment or moving wireless networks
• Data fusion and signal processing for air and missile target systems
• Instant language translation devices for communicating with foreign-language populations in war zones or in emergency-response or other public-service situations.
